Description
We are looking for an Office Manager to help create a welcoming workplace experience in San Francisco, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting daily office operations, coordinating events, and ensuring employees, visitors, and candidates feel well cared for. The role combines front-of-house professionalism with administrative coordination, workplace support, and strong attention to detail. You will play an important part in maintaining an organized, efficient, and community-focused office environment.
Responsibilities:

Create a positive front-desk and in-office experience by greeting employees, guests, and candidates with professionalism and a hospitality-focused approach.

Maintain reception areas and common spaces so they remain tidy, functional, and inviting throughout the workday.

Manage the in-office retail area by placing orders, replenishing stock, and monitoring inventory levels for branded merchandise.

Compile recurring security reports, track workplace incidents, and highlight patterns or trends for internal review.

Coordinate onsite gatherings such as team events, social functions, and happy hours, including logistics, vendor communication, budget tracking, and promotional materials.

Work with internal teams to monitor, collect, and return eligible branded packages as needed.

Collaborate with workplace partners and cross-functional stakeholders to support office projects and ongoing operational initiatives.

Assist with workplace processes and systems, including employee departures, visitor management workflows, expense-related tools, and general office service requests.

Requirements
-
1-2 years of experience in reception, hospitality, customer service, event coordination, or administrative support preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented and service-oriented approach.

Demonstrated ability to stay organized, manage several tasks at once, and maintain close attention to detail.

Basic computer proficiency and comfort learning workplace platforms and administrative systems.

Dependable, proactive, and collaborative work style with a willingness to support team needs.

Interest in developing a career in workplace operations, facilities support, or office administration.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
