Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks an Senior Consultant in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Work You’ll Do

Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, by driving the design and development. Drive aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the components in the design.

• 50% Travel required nationally

• Telecommuting permitted

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

• Utilizing Salesforce Data Loader to perform data cleansing, data conversions, interface design, and interface development;

• Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations and urgent issues utilizing Jira, Octane, Apex Code, Apex Triggers, Java, Git, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Pipelines;

• Utilizing Java and Apex Data Loader to design and develop data conversion strategies, as well as facilitate mapping and cleansing workshops;

• Converting legacy data according to current system’s data structure using data warehouse concepts, including MuleSoft, Apex Data Loader, and Salesforce Best Practices;

• Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, utilizing Figma and Lucidchart;

• Designing and deploying end-to-end cloud infrastructure using Git and CI/CD Pipelines;

• Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, and designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing Cloud technology solutions using Salesforce, Jira, Lucidchart, Apex Triggers, and Lightning Web Component (LWC) Visual Studio Code (VS Code); and

• Deploying custom developed applications, including code development and review, Unit Testing, Performance Testing, configuration, defect management, and production deployment and training, utilizing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Lightning Development, Salesforce Configure Price Quote (CPQ), and Salesforce Best Practices.
