LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the MRO LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN EAST. Responsibilities You will serve as the acknowledged expert for logistics support and provides logistics support decisions to FRC East management. You will research and coordinate with Production, engineering, cognizant FSTs, PMAs, DLA, NAVSUP, etc. to resolve logistics support issues. You will maintain communication and business relationships with internal customers, as well as external entities for purposes of collaboration, to meet customer-support and sustainment requirements. You will work with Production and Engineering to identify corrections needed for technical data (manuals and Local Engineering Specification (LES)). You will analyze supportability and readiness information for those systems processed at FRC East. You will train/mentor lower level logistics specialists through an established Training Plan. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Researching and coordinating with Production, engineering, cognizant FSTs, PMAs, DLA, NAVSUP, etc. to resolve logistics support issues; 2) Providing proactive logistics support assistance that will focus on supply support, technical data, maintenance planning and management, and design interface; 3)Analyzing supportability and readiness information systems and report on performance of material or technical data processed; 4) Developing/providing recommendations for improving the system design, support system design and/or maintenance process design.
