Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school community serving middle school students in Tonopah, AZ. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about helping students succeed academically while collaborating with a team that values leadership, flexibility, and student-centered support.

This position serves as a Split Campus Resource SPED Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting students in a resource setting across multiple campuses. The ideal candidate is a strong team player, a servant leader, and someone who enjoys working collaboratively to meet the diverse needs of students.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students receiving special education services.

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, families, and support staff.

• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student needs.

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.

• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student growth and independence.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

• Valid state teaching certification as required by state and district regulations.

• Special Education Teaching Certification preferred and may be required by the district.

• Minimum of one year of teaching experience preferred.

• Current CPR certification, if applicable.

• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.

• Current health certificate, if required.

• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Compliance with all professional standards of practice.

Travel Candidates

?? Up to $2,000 Weekly Gross Pay Package

?? Includes eligible weekly stipends:

• $600 Housing Stipend
