Full job description
Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for Anticipated Part-time Teaching Assistant positions at our Noxon Road Elementary School as indicated below for the 2026-2027 school year.

(1) 35 hr/wk Part-time Special Education Teaching Assistant (1:1)

Starting Salary $23,577

(1) 35 hr/wk Part-time General Education Teaching Assistant

The District offers:

Paid sick and personal days as well as health insurance coverage for positions that are 20 hrs/wk or more

Some paid holidays for those positions of 20 hrs/wk or more.

Optional enrollment in 403B and/or NYS Teacher Retirement System (Pension)

Tuition reimbursement program (up to $1,000)
Starting salary is approximately $18.05/hr. However, positions of 25 hours or more are salaried September through June.
Anticipated positions will range in hours approximately 27.5 hours per week up to 35 hours per week.
Note: This posting will remain open until positions have been filled.
Job Qualifications
Current NYS Teaching Assistant Certification preferred but required prior to January 2027.
