Role Overview

The SI&O Business Product Manager is accountable for the end-to-end ownership of a defined set of sales-facing business products that deliver measurable revenue growth, margin expansion, and seller productivity. Reporting into the Sales organization, this role partners with Sales leadership, Sales Operations, and IT/technical product counterparts to define product vision, clarify decision rights, prioritize the initiative portfolio, and ensure solutions deliver measurable outcomes (productivity, scalability, data quality, customer and seller experience). This role is accountable for translating sales strategy into a governed roadmap, aligning stakeholders, and driving disciplined execution from intake through launch and adoption.

This role ensures sales business products actively enable high-performing sales teams by accelerating deal velocity, protecting and expanding margin, and enabling seamless expansion across hardware, software, and strategic services. Operating within a formal product management model, the Business Product Manager serves as a strategic advisor and business consultant to Sales leadership, partnering with Business stakeholders, IT Delivery, Architecture, Enablement, and Analytics to deliver low-friction, in-flow digital experiences aligned to how sellers actually sell.

Core Accountability

Value realization and strategic ownership of sales business products embedded across the full sales lifecycle: prospect → qualify → pursue → propose → close → expand. Products are designed to accelerate deal velocity, optimize margin, and unlock services-led growth.

Why This Role Matters

This role ensures product investments in Sales translate into real business results. By owning sales products end to end, the Business Product Manager embeds value directly into how sellers work, accelerating deal velocity, protecting margin, and enabling services-led growth. The role provides a single point of accountability to move capabilities from pilots into durable, trusted products that scale revenue impact and seller productivity.

Responsibilities

Product Vision, Strategy & Roadmap Ownership

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for sales business products.

  • Govern sales products as outcome-driven capabilities, aligning data, workflows, and tooling to measurable sales performance and opportunity impact.

  • Ensure capabilities reinforce high-performing sales behaviors, including faster deal progression, margin discipline, and cross-sell / attach motions.

  • Lead value-based prioritization using impact, effort, and risk, grounded in revenue and margin outcomes.

  • Balance innovation, feature delivery, platform evolution, technical debt, and architectural investments.

  • Stay current on emerging platforms, tools, and technologies relevant to Sales and revenue growth.

  • Evaluate, pilot, and scale new capabilities while enforcing enterprise governance and risk standards.

Seller Workflow & Sales Motion Advisory

  • Execute the vision for products that operate directly within the flow of seller work.

  • Embed capabilities into existing seller systems and moments of action (e.g., CRM, productivity platforms, collaboration tools).

  • Align capabilities to seller roles and motions including account planning, deal shaping, proposals, and pipeline management.

End-to-End Lifecycle & Value Realization

  • Drive outcomes across the full product lifecycle from discovery through adoption and iteration.

  • Maintain accountability for business outcomes, user outcomes, product quality, and governance.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5–7+ years of experience in product management or revenue-facing business roles.

  • Proven experience owning products tied to measurable business outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales motions.

  • Experience delivering digital capabilities embedded into business workflows.

Preferred

  • Experience scaling products from pilot to enterprise adoption.

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and productivity ecosystems.
