Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Drive achievement of key commercial objectives , including NOI, fuel volume, operating expense, and market share targets, while developing and executing growth strategies for Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) sales. Generate new business through pipeline management, prospecting, networking, industry engagement, and disciplined execution of the sales process.

  • Develop a deep understanding of fleet operations and renewable fuels economics to provide consultative, account-level solutions that improve customer profitability, strengthen business cases, and accelerate growth opportunities.

  • Identify, develop, and close new CNG and RNG business opportunities by creating tailored commercial proposals and partnering with fleet customers to achieve mutual business objectives.

  • Lead territory growth initiatives through development and execution of a Strategic Network Plan, including annual business planning, customer retention strategies, and targeted new customer acquisition efforts.

  • Forecast sales growth and market opportunities by analyzing industry trends, customer demand, and market requirements, while tracking and communicating actual performance against business plans and projections.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with fleet decision-makers , supporting the adoption and expansion of CNG solutions among existing natural gas fleets and guiding diesel fleet operators through fuel conversion strategies.

  • Leverage data, market intelligence, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities, strengthen Chevron’s market position, and support strategic decision-making within the renewable fuels business.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, finance, marketing, and supply teams to deliver customer solutions, execute growth initiatives, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Represent Chevron at industry events, trade associations, and customer engagements , serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for the benefits of RNG and CNG transportation solutions.

  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and CRM discipline , ensuring accurate forecasting, account planning, opportunity tracking, and achievement of territory growth objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • +5 years of CNG or fuels sales experience in the heavy duty truck fleets segment.

  • Availability to travel up to 50%

  • Valid driver's license

  • College degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Holding an MBA degree.

  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $137,600 – $237,800. The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
