Job Description
My client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their new federal program where they will look to improve the business processes of the federal agency. Their day to day responsibilities will include:
- Analyze business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Gather, document, and manage business requirements.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and solution development sessions.
- Support Agile implementation, testing, and deployment activities.
- Develop process maps, workflows, and operational recommendations.
- Support governance, project planning, and operational readiness efforts.
- Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 8 years as a business analyst or SME.
- Minimum 5 years supporting federal programs involving process optimization, requirements analysis, or system integration with an immigration focus.
- USCIS or DHS program support.
- CBAP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, workflow optimization, and Agile methodologies.
- Five years of immigration policy, immigration ecosystem, and DHS identity management/verification experience.
- System integration projects.
- Agile transformation initiatives.
- Business process reengineering.
- Operational readiness support.
