About the Role
As we continue expanding our operations in the United States, we are looking for a Logistics Specialist to support the coordination of international shipments, import activities, customs compliance, and domestic transportation for our utility-scale energy storage projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing clean energy company and play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of critical equipment and materials.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate import operations in compliance with U.S. regulations.
- Liaise with customs brokers to ensure timely customs clearance.
- Prepare, review, and manage customs and shipping documentation.
- Prepare and manage documentation required for Letters of Credit (L/C).
- Maintain and update project shipping plans.
- Coordinate transportation activities across the United States.
- Organize and manage road transportation documentation.
- Monitor shipments and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies.
- Ensure logistics processes are compliant, efficient, and aligned with project schedules.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, import/export operations, or supply chain management.
- Solid knowledge of U.S. import regulations and customs procedures.
- Proven experience managing customs documentation.
- Strong understanding of logistics documents, including AWB, BOL, FCR, Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, and Certificates of Origin.
- Experience coordinating with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Required Skills
- Experience in logistics, import/export operations, or supply chain management.
- Knowledge of U.S. import regulations and customs procedures.
- Experience managing customs documentation.
- Understanding of logistics documents.
- Coordination with customs brokers and transportation providers.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the energy, industrial, infrastructure, EPC, or construction sectors.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and international trade practices.
- Experience with Letters of Credit and international shipping operations.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment.
Pay range and compensation package
- The anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000 – $110,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and industry background.
