Job Description

The duties and responsibilities include directing the ongoing operation of the Assisted Living Center, including resident care, budgetary and financial operations, personnel recruitment, management, staffing, scheduling, assignments, etc., in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and as outlined in established policies and procedures of Methodist Senior Services.

RN license is preferred

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; nursing degree from an accredited nursing program, college or university. Must be at least 21 years of age; cannot be a resident of the facility; shall have verification that he/she is not listed on the “Mississippi Nurses Aide Abuse Registry”; full-time hours required; RN or LPN with current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN or LPN in this state (RN is preferred) with a minimum of two years experience working in a hospital, long term care facility, or other health care institution, with training or experience in geriatrics OR a graduate of a four-year degree program with related experience in a geriatric-related field; will hold membership in a professional association; management experience.
