Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) –Torrance,CA

Local Pay: $31.50/hour - (W2)

Shift Details:

  • Days, 8-Hours, Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed

  • Per Diem position

Licensed Vocational Nurse Duties & Responsibilities:

  • LVNs are responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with various medical health conditions.

  • LVNs perform a wide variety of patient care activities in support of clinic operations, including providing patient education, diabetes management, hypertension control and medication management, administering injections, conducting triage and assessment, and assisting during procedures including, but not limited to, teleretinal screening.

  • LVNs assist and support the nursing and medical team by performing various medical related tasks and delivering patient care.

  • This position requires initiative, ability to prioritize critical demands, and the ability to work in a team environment. .

**Minimum Qualifications **

  • Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of recent nursing experience in ambulatory healthcare setting or med-surg experience.

  • A degree from an accredited school of Nursing

  • Active Vocational Nurse license,

  • AHA BLS, MAB or CPI,

  • LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City), and must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date.

  • Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
