Full job description
Raymond James is seeking a Sr ServiceNow Developer our ServiceNow Solutions team. The ServiceNow Solutions Team provides technology solutions and support across the entire Raymond James Organization built on the ServiceNow platform. As a Senior Developer, you will analyze business requirements and problems and develop quality technical solutions. You will be involved in portions of the full systems life cycle (based on experience/skills) and will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform delivered on time and within budget. You will manage complex problems independently and demonstrate analytical thinking, are able to make judgements and recommendations based on the analysis and interpretation of data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyzes system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and sub systems.

May recommend new technologies and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems and exploiting opportunities. Remains current with new technologies.

Obtains and evaluates information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.

Participates in software system testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation.

Provides technical advice and assists in solving programming problems.

Writes and/or reviews system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts.

Reviews test results; documents test activities, and records remedial actions.

Ensures proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills:
-
Ideally two (2) to four (4) years of ServiceNow experience is preferred.

Must have a solid background in ServiceNow applications and development.

Knowledge of ServiceNow Modules (i.e., FSO, ITSM, ITOM, ITBM/ SPM, GRC/ IRM, SecOps, Vulnerability Response, Service Portal, SAM Pro, Integration Hub, and/or Performance Analytics) is a plus.

Development skills in JavaScript on the ServiceNow Platform.

Experience with integrations (e.g., REST APIs, LDAP, Active Directory, JDBC, Orchestration, etc.)

Experience with Scoped Applications.

Experience with Flow Designer, preferred.

Experience with Integration Hub, preferred.

Experience with Service Portal, preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certification is a plus: Certified Application Developer
