Maintenance Generalist MG08U Albertville 1st Shift

Job Details: This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Applicants must be willing to work overtime and weekends.

• Some departments are hot/wet, and some are cold/wet.

• The work schedule is 6 days a week and 7 if production works on Saturday.

• Position requires standing approximately 8.5 hours/day on concrete floor.

• Position requires standing, walking, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, pulling or lifting over 40 lbs. and climbing up and down stairs and ladders above 10 feet.

• Position requires being a member of the Plant Hazmat Team.

• Requires completing computer-based training and entering work into the SAP system.

• Position requires using LOTO, Fall Protection, Ladders, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks.

• Proficiency in reading and writing, ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.

• Current maintenance techs will have first consideration over other applicants.

• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Pay is commensurate with experience.

Requirements: Minimum 6 months industrial maintenance experience or be a recent graduate from an industrial maintenance program (Must document experience on application and/or in resume) Must pass a drug test
