Full job description

What to expect.

  • Serve as the first point of contact to patients, their families/representatives, outside agencies, and referrers to respond to inquiries for admission or referral

  • Collect and evaluate psychiatric, demographic and insurance data and determine the appropriate level of care needed

  • Provide clinical triage and referral to appropriate Sheppard Pratt services or referral to external services and depending on specific assignment, have primary responsibility for coordination of inpatient admissions

  • Actively market Sheppard Pratt programs and services to internal and external groups

  • Complete written and on-line documentation requirements for admissions and referrals

Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.

What we need from you.

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field of study

  • At least 1 year of progressively more responsible clinical experience

  • Must have strong interpersonal and analytical skills

  • Knowledge of IDX and/or Sunrise preferred
