Full job description

Our client, automotive manufacturing company is seeking a Production Assistant Manager to join their team. As a Production Assistant Manager you will be part of the Production team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have Strong leadership skills, manufacturing background and good work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Assistant Manager-2nd shift

Location: Ellabell, GA

Pay Range: $81 to 95/k

What’s the Job?

  • Assist in managing daily production operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely manufacture of high-quality battery module products.

  • Lead and support Production Supervisors and team members in achieving departmental goals related to safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost performance.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, implementing corrective actions to achieve performance targets.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, scrap reduction, quality improvement, and cost savings.

  • Collaborate with Process Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Materials teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and improve operational performance.

What’s Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing experience in a high-volume production environment.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Lead, or equivalent manufacturing leadership role.

  • Experience managing production operations, employee performance, and departmental objectives within a manufacturing setting.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
