Compliance Analyst

Job Description

One of our top client's is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to support the Vendor Compliance Management (VCM) team within a financial services environment. This position plays a critical role in mitigating legal and operational risk by conducting vendor assessments, supporting remediation efforts, monitoring compliance activities, and managing special projects.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where they can balance multiple priorities while ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements are met.

• Conduct Vendor Compliance Management (VCM) risk assessments and assist with remediation of identified findings.

• Manage and support special projects related to vendor compliance and governance.

• Track and maintain vendor insurance documentation and compliance requirements.

• Monitor and review Service Organization Control (SOC) reports and related compliance documentation.

• Participate in collection call calibrations and compliance reviews.

• Analyze compliance data and identify opportunities for process improvement.

• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and audit trails.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure compliance standards are met.

• Escalate compliance concerns and findings when appropriate.

Pay Range: $38-$41

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent analytical and operational analysis skills.

• Strong written communication, research, and documentation abilities.

• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.

• Strong recordkeeping and documentation practices. Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and regulatory requirements.

• Experience within the financial services industry.

• Background in regulatory oversight, vendor compliance, risk management, or auditing.

• Knowledge of lending operations, including: Loan origination Loan servicing Collections End-of-term processes

• Understanding of technical writing, software systems, networks, mainframes, systems testing, and table maintenance.
