Health Unit Coordinator - Emergency Services

Description

Responsible for maintaining the nursing station by performing clerical, order entry, and receptionist duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training - Cardiology: Training from Quality Management in coding metrics and length of stay parameters. Training in medical terminology.

• Coursework/Training - NICU: Some college hours.

• NICU: 1 year experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. Experience working with computers.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
