Job Description

The System Offices is one of several system members within the Texas A&M University System representing one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation, with a network of 12 universities, a comprehensive health science center, eight state agencies, Texas A&M – Fort Worth and the Texas A&M - RELLIS Campus. Salary:

$3,657.34 - $4,833.33 per month commensurate with experience.

Job Description Summary:

Under general direction, the Project Manager coordinates strategic initiatives supporting export control and undue foreign influence functions. The Project Manager develops, implements, and oversees project plans, timelines, deliverables and performance metrics, providing project management support to the system export control officer.

Responsibilities:- Manages projects in alignment with institution objectives and established project management standards.

  • Defines project objectives, success metrics, and performance indications.

  • Develops and maintains project plans, milestones, deliverables, risk assessments, documentation, and performance metrics.

  • Coordinates project activities and resources to ensure timely and effective project execution.

  • Facilitates internal and external stakeholder meetings, working groups, and project communications.

  • Supports initiatives of teams reporting to the system export control officer.

  • Prepares executive-level reports, dashboards, presentation, and status updates.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:- Bachelor’s degree inapplicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Three years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.

  • Ability to coordinator complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in a complex, system-level organization.

  • Experience handling sensitive, controlled or regulated data.

  • Demonstrated experience in a complex, system-level organization.

  • Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively with others.
