Position Summary CVS Health is seeking a creative, analytical, and collaborative actuarial professional to support Self-Funded EGWP clients. This role is responsible for developing projections, analyzing business performance, evaluating the impact of evolving Medicare Part D regulations, and conducting Book of Business (BOB) studies to support client and enterprise decision-making. The successful candidate will partner closely with Sales, Rebate Operations, Underwriting, Clinical, Formulary, and the broader Medicare Part D team to deliver insights and solutions that help meet client needs and business objectives. This individual will apply actuarial and analytical skills to complex business questions while contributing to pricing, forecasting, and strategic initiatives. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role requires effectively translating technical concepts and regulatory changes for a variety of audiences, including internal stakeholders and client-facing teams. The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively across functions to support both EGWP clients and the broader organization.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Help develop pricing strategies and money-saving options that align with customer needs
  • Support analysis related to Medicare Part D reform and help educate business partners on potential impacts
  • Partner with Underwriting, Sales, and Account teams on complex new business and renewal cases.
  • Meet with clients, as needed, to explain economic implications and pricing considerations
  • Complete and/or oversee studies used to set assumptions in pricing models
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and high-quality analyses and recommendations
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Identify issues that could materially affect financial results and develop sound, unbiased recommendations
  • Apply technical expertise and critical thinking to solve business problems
  • Mentor less experienced team members and support team development

Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required with 3+ years of actuarial, statistics or programming, and/or relevant finance background with: -Strong communication skills -Strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications Coding Experience. Knowledge of pharmacy benefits and formularies.

Education Bachelor's Degree required.

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is:

$92,700.00 - $203,940.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
