Full job description

Description

Essential Functions

  • Participate in internal and external quality audits.

  • Support all supplier qualification and maintenance activities as it pertains to Quality, such as Curbell’s supplier approval process, generating NCR’s, Customer Complaint resolution, and Supplier Corrective Actions.

  • Support and promote Curbell’s ISO certified Quality Management System at all branch locations. Continue to develop compliant branches and help them achieve ISO certification as business needs are determined.

  • Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality assurance and assure that effective corrective action is implemented.

  • Support organization with appropriate work instructions, gage studies, test plans and calibration. Provide additional administrative and compliance related support.

  • Facilitate problem solving teams and respond to customer discrepancy notices. Verify corrective actions and prepare problem solving customer correspondence related to quality concerns or issues.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Required

  • Bachelors or better

Experience

Preferred

  • REQUIRED: Experience in a distribution or manufacturing type setting. Experience as an internal auditor and ISO9001. DESIRED: Plastics manufacturing or distribution.
