Do you have the PRN career opportunities as a(an) Ultrasound tech PRN you want with your current employer? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Medical City Decatur which is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs quality Ultrasound procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care, exercise excellent customer service, participates in call/holiday coverage, maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety, involved in department initiatives.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

  • Diagnostic Medical Sonographer must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

  • Vocational School Graduate

  • Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree preferred

  • Must be registered/eligible by R.D.M.S or ARRT (S) . If associate does not hold advanced certification, associate shall obtain within 6 months of hire/promotion/transfer or completion of training program. Must be BLS by AHA or ARC.

  • Must be registered for Vascular

  • Prefer at least 1 year experience
