Job Description

Remote work considered:

Based on multiple factors, remote work may be considered for this position, at the discretion of the business. Candidate must be local to the Endicott, NY area .

Work within a team of procurement professionals to action material requisitions per MRP planning recommendations for assigned commodities.

  • Using controlled sources, issue Request for Quotation (RFQs) to approved suppliers, followed by negotiating pricing and delivery terms, to award Purchase Orders (POs) while adhering to all company procurement policies and procedures.

  • Establish working relationship with supplier sales counterparts

  • Actively work with supply base to resolve delivery misalignments and overdue orders

  • Work with Commodity Managers to contribute to strategic initiatives and escalate supplier issues, where applicable

  • Resolve delivery, receiving and accounts payable issues in a timely manner

  • Collaborate with Material Planners to support meeting the needs of the business

The Procurement Analyst will use strong communication and organizational skills to build relationships internally and externally. It is expected that the Procurement Analyst will maintain their order backlog on a regular basis to facilitate proper manufacturing planning through MRP. The Procurement Analyst will work with the Material Planners to mitigate schedule risks and escalate as appropriate, as well as work with the established buying team for training, other resources, and team building.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years work experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong individual workload organization skills with the ability to multi-task

  • Strong communication skills and email management

  • Inclination toward proactive continuous process improvement

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations

  • Previous experience in procurement of various commodities

  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP

  • Professional Supply Chain certifications such as CPIM or PMP

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $61278 - $104173

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
