Employment Type: Part timeShift: Night Shift Description: Job Title: Endoscopy Tech Unit: Endo Center Employment Type: Per Diem Shift: Night Shift (5pm-7am) Location: St. Mary Medical Center - Langhorne, PA
Position Purpose Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assists in providing nursing care to a designated patient population in collaboration with other members of the health care team.
Unit Overview Endoscopy Center
As an Endoscopy Tech, you will
- Applies principles in adhering to sterile technique
- Assists physician with equipment during procedures
- Handles specimens according to policies and procedures
- Participates in the evaluation of new supplies, equipment and instruments
- Chooses correct method and time frame for high level disinfection and sterilization of equipment
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Prior Endo experience required
- Endo tech certification preferred
- BLS required.
