Full job description

About The Position About the role Sidelines Group runs the content, product, and commercial engine behind some of the biggest US sports media assets. This role owns one of our most strategic partnerships end to end - you lead the relationship, set its direction, and drive its growth. You make the day-to-day calls on how the partnership runs and where it goes, backed by senior leadership. This is the first senior hire in a US partnerships function we're actively building. US-based, East Coast preferred (NY/NJ ideal). Remote, with occasional in-person meetings in New York. Close daily collaboration with our Israel-based teams. What will you do?

  • Partnership growth and performance - You own how the partnership performs and where it grows - spotting opportunities, making the case, and driving them through.
  • The relationship - You are the partner's primary point of contact - leading meetings, working with their editorial and product leadership, and setting the agenda for where the partnership goes.
  • Product direction for the partnership - You translate partner needs into product priorities - widgets, deeplinks, integrations - and drive them with our engineering and product teams.
  • Cross-functional initiatives - You lead work that spans our SEO, engineering, and business teams (based in Israel) and the partner's US teams, making the calls that keep them moving.

What success looks like Growth in the partnership's revenue and reach, strong product adoption on the partner's platforms, and a relationship the partner treats as a driver of their business.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in partnerships, business development, or media/publisher operations, including ownership of a significant external partnership.
  • Someone who leads and decides - comfortable owning a relationship and setting its direction, rather than simply executing against one.
  • Credible with senior stakeholders, internally and on the partner side.
  • Analytical and data-driven - you build the case for decisions from data, not instinct alone.
  • Effective across teams you don't manage, and across the US-Israel time zone difference.
  • Commercially minded, with a feel for how content, product, and affiliate revenue connect.
  • Interested in US sports, betting, and gaming - knowledge is a plus, not a requirement.
