Full job description

Responsible for system support, performance, and availability of the global IT infrastructure (7x24). Provides support for operating systems, servers, storage, backup, FTP software, mail routing, and all related IT infrastructure. Monitor and troubleshoot systems, implement upgrades/changes, and assess organization's current and future needs. Primary support for on Premise, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform’s Windows, Linux, and SQL platforms. Resolve operational problems and work with vendors on an as needed basis.

This Hybrid role requires in-person work at our Westminster, CO office 3 days a week.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • System administration, functionality, security/audit, compliance, and maintenance

  • Windows Server, Linux, and storage administration and maintenance

  • Maintain and support Rubrik backup infrastructure

  • Maintain and support MoveIT FTP infrastructure

  • Hardware support and maintenance (i.e. upgrades, patches)

  • Responsible for maintaining any security related and audit initiatives.

  • Perform day to day system administration activities.

  • Assist the IT service desk with IT infrastructure related issues as needed. Escalate unresolved problems to other IT infrastructure staff or appropriate external support providers as needed.

  • Involved in technical project planning and implementation for all corporate offices.

  • Involved with initiating new procedures and plans for the future of the company’s infrastructure with direction from management.

  • Evaluate/recommend the purchase/configuration of IT infrastructure to IT management.

  • Support and IT Project related activities

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science, a minimum of 3 additional years of experience would be considered in lieu of degree
  • 4+ years related professional IT experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Must have knowledge of systems installation and maintenance. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Must possess communication skills to exchange information and resolve problems with clients/users/vendors.

  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

  • Demonstrates:

  • Ability to work well under pressure & time constraints

  • Strong Organizational Skills

  • Ability to identify opportunities, technical risks and impacts of technology solutions

  • Ability to be on-call 24x7

  • Technical Experience:

  • Experience with configuration, deployment, and administration of Intel-based server hardware.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, VMware vSphere, Active Directory Services, DNS, Microsoft Exchange, Scripting, Disaster Recovery concepts, High Availability concepts, and Storage concepts (i.e. NAS/SAN).

The annual for this position is between $75,000 - $112,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
