Description

Salary Pay Range: $62,353.20-$66,000

Oversee People Inc.’s incident management function, including regulatory compliance, investigation support, trend analysis, staff training/development, and process improvement. Serves as one of the primary liaisons to OPWDD Incident Management Unit and the Justice Center.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides oversight of the internal OPWDD incident management process.

  • Liaison to OPWDD Incident Management Unit and Justice Center.

  • Responsible for supporting the investigations function and investigations staff.

  • Revises the incident management policy, procedure and processes when necessary and incorporates new information as needed based upon agency need and/or OPWDD requirements.

  • Prepare trending information as required.

  • Responsible for assisting with the creation, implementation and reporting of various quality improvement plans and functions.

  • Develop and provide incident management trainings and education program for all employees, arrange coverage for all in-services and develop training materials as necessary.

  • Respond to questions or issues from departments and programs in a timely manner.

  • Attends Agency Incident Review Committee (IRC).

  • Represent department at meetings as requested by Quality AVP.

  • Provides on-call incident management support as assigned.

  • Complies with all agency policies and procedures.

  • Stay current on all OPWDD and Justice Center incident management regulations and statutes.

  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and 6 years of experience.

  • 6 – 9 years Quality Improvement experience in the OPWDD field.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise department employees as assigned, which includes but is not limited to ensuring that employees comply with all agency policies and procedures; monitoring staff hours, mileage, and PTO; and providing training and development opportunities for employees.
