Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

  • You will serve as Lead Special Programs (SAP) Linux Systems Administrator for all NRL SAP Linux information Systems, under the purview of the NRL Code 1224 Section Head.
  • You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of STIG'd Red Hat Linux operating system and process refinement to maximize automated services.
  • You will ensure all Security measures including analysis, periodic testing, compliance with the organization's computing and network environment.
  • You will administer assigned IT systems within assigned limited access environments and ensure security compliance.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Installing, configuring, and maintaining a Red Hat Linux operating system; 2) Configuring hardware and software information systems for layered network architectures; and 3) Managing security design and protecting IT services. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
