  • Lead cross-functional financial projects and workflows involving Academic Affairs, Finance, Facilities, auxiliary operations, and other institutional stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and financial planning efforts.
  • Strengthen strategic finance reporting, data governance, documentation standards, and internal controls. Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, automation initiatives, and reporting improvements related to strategic finance and auxiliary business operations.
  • Establish and maintain financial records, supporting documentation, and workpapers while providing cross-training and operational support for assigned finance, budget, and reporting activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This position requires a bachelor's degree with accounting coursework and professional experience in accounting, auditing, banking, finance, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of governmental accounting, financial reporting, budgeting practices, fiscal policies, and applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Experience in managing auxiliary business operations, contracts, vendor relationships, or revenue-generating business functions.
  • Experience with ERP systems, financial information systems, data management tools, and financial reporting software.
  • Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and decision memoranda.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
