Salary Range: $125,000.00 To $155,000.00 Annually
Position Summary:
A culture-creating leader of skilled nursing operations, this individual is responsible for assisting in the development and evolution of St. John’s skilled nursing home and leading the operations of the skilled nursing operation. This role works as a partner on a dynamic multi-disciplinary team. This leader will be responsible for the championing of high standards, building improvements based upon data, and guiding a team through and with the St. John’s values.
Qualifications and Education Required:
-
Current NY State nursing home administrator’s license
-
Extensive knowledge of staffing and position control, and NYS regulatory processes
-
Ability to analyze, synthesize, and successfully communicate an innovative model of services delivery to employees, board of directors, and public
-
Ability to contribute to the profitability of the business entity with an understanding of the core business drivers and relationship between business needs and technology strategies
-
Four years’ experience in leadership roles. Experience in environments that have undergone transformation of business and/or operational culture strongly preferred
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office; expertise in Excel
-
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field

Position Responsibilities
-
Seek to maximize efficiencies across the organization

Ensure policies and procedures which govern skilled services operations are developed and maintained in a way that promotes elder-directed care and operational success

Oversight and management of operations and operating budget for assigned departments
-
Support the Administrator with development and implementation of strategic initiatives
-
Participation on various committees, including QAPI, Corporate Compliance, Quality Assurance Committee, Ethics Committee, Policy and Procedure Committee, and/or others
-
In conjunction with the Quality Assurance Practice Partner lead the continued development of QAPI measurements and projects for non-clinical departments
-
Direct and implement aspects of staff, elder and family engagement through measurement, action, and monitoring
-
External reporting to various regulatory stakeholders
-
Conducts facility inspections and/or audits as instructed by the Administrator
-
Support staff engagement, retention and accountability
-
Prepares written reports as required
-
Performs other related duties as assigned

May be required to work flexible hours as needed
Exposure to Conditions:

Potential exposure to germs, colds, flu and other communicable illnesses

Possible exposure to psycho-behavioral situations
This position is exempt based on the FLSA Fair Pay Exemption Administrative Category
