CentraCare is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Staffing Assistant to support the scheduling and coordination of Care Management, Home Care and Hospice staff. In this important role, you will help maintain appropriate staffing coverage while collaborating closely with leadership to support patient care and team needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and maintain staff schedules to ensure appropriate 24/7 coverage based on established team staffing patterns and patient care needs.

  • Collaborate with designated leadership regarding staffing needs, scheduling gaps and team coverage.

  • Work with leadership to identify positions and staffing levels needed to maintain core coverage based on budgeted and actual patient census data.

  • Assist with the appropriate allocation of nursing and support personnel based on patient census and acuity.

  • Communicate effectively with leaders and team members to help address changing staffing needs and maintain continuity of care.

  • Demonstrate family centered care principles through respectful, compassionate interactions with patients, families, coworkers, and other members of the care team.

Schedule

  • Full-time | 80 hours per two weeks

  • Day shift | Monday - Friday | 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

  • This position will primarily work from home with the very occasional need for on-site presence required

Pay and Benefits

  • Starting pay begins at $23.30 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience

  • Pay range:   $20.71 - $31.68 per hour

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma

  • Previous scheduling experience

  • Strong communication and computer skills

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Completion of post-secondary secretarial program preferred

  • Previous medical experience preferred
