Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a System Engineer to join their team. As a System Engineer, you will be part of the IT support department supporting critical infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: System Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $55-$60/hr. on W2
What's the Job?

Analyze technical issues across systems, applications, and infrastructure to develop effective solutions.

Support and execute storage migrations, server, and virtual machine migrations as part of the Data Center Exit program.

Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure seamless migration activities and business continuity.

Build environments, perform testing, execute cutover activities, and validate post-migration success.

Support migration and cutover activities during evenings and weekends, ensuring minimal disruption to production services.
What's Needed?

Relevant technical background with experience in systems, storage, and virtualization environments.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during critical migration activities.

Excellent coordination and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

Willingness to support activities during evenings and weekends as required.

Experience supporting large-scale data center migration projects is preferred.
