Brattleboro, located in southern Vermont, sits between the West and Connecticut rivers at an altitude of 310 feet. Our beautiful, picturesque village offers a wider variety of activities and attractions to visitors and residents. It’s a historic village with a population just over 12,000 and was the site of the first post office to issue stamps! Our facility treats a wide caseload, and we provide individualized treatments to maximize outcomes. Our clinic is fully equipped with modern, state of the art equipment necessary for all rehab programs.

Job Description

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results

• Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required

• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines

• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers

• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians

• Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals

• Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments

• Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies

• Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program

• Current state of Vermont license or (soon to have if relocating)

• New graduates are welcome to apply!

• Our clinical education and mentorship allow for a successful transition from school to the clinical setting

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 -$85,000. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The Company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
