This position contributes to our vision by:

 Assembles airline seats partially or completely, working at bench or on shop floor by performing the following duties.

 Remove burrs from fabricated and/or machined parts by hand or power equipment.

 Must be able to certify at MVP

 Must have knowledge of which power equipment to be used for which type of material

 Determine if parts are appearance item and deburr accordingly

 Must have knowledge of which tool is best suited for the job.

 Must be able to work from verbal instructions.

 Must be able to differentiate between steel and aluminum

 Must be able to perform other duties as required.

 Employee is expected to follow all safety regulations, keep work area in a clean and orderly condition, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the assigned work area(s). Performs safety related duties as assigned.

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • One to three years of related experience required – equivalent education and background may be substituted for experience in some areas.

  • Must be able to read drawings, diagrams, route sheets, work orders, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers to practical situations.
