Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Preconstruction Project Manager to lead commercial solar and energy infrastructure projects from approximately 30% design through construction-ready completion and handoff to Operations. This role serves as the bridge between Development, Engineering, and Construction teams, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and prepared for successful execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong preconstruction and solar background in the C&I space. This candidate will need to be in the state of Arizona who can report onsite or to client meetings as needed.

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in preconstruction, project management, engineering coordination, construction management
  • Commercial solar experience required.
  • Experience managing projects through design, engineering, permitting, and construction turnover.
  • Experience coordinating engineering consultants, contractors, utilities, permitting agencies, and other external stakeholders.
  • Background in renewable energy, energy services, design-build construction, infrastructure, or related industries.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, schedules, and stakeholders simultaneously.
