Description
The Part-Time Special Faculty member will serve as a statistician and data analyst for ongoing NIH-funded clinical trials conducted in the Health and Human Performance Lab at Carnegie Mellon University. The incumbent will collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator (Dr. D. Creswell) on all aspects of study design, data analysis, and dissemination of findings.
Responsibilities:

Conduct statistical analyses for ongoing NIH-funded clinical trials, including power analyses, mixed-effects models, and mediation/moderation analyses

Handle missing data using appropriate modern methods (e.g., multiple imputation, full-information maximum likelihood)

Perform data management and quality control for ongoing trial datasets

Prepare analytic results for manuscripts and grant reports

Collaborate with the PI (Dr. Creswell) on study design and analysis plans for new grant submissions

Contribute to manuscript writing and publication
Qualifications

PhD in psychology, statistics, or a related field

Expertise in statistical software, including R and SPSS
-
Experience with clinical trial data analysis

Strong background in quantitative methods
