Duties

• Responsible for the accuracy of statistical and expense recording data that assigns cost factors to work centers.
• Analyzing various reports for cost distribution
• Develops local MEPRS policy and manages data collection, processing, and Data Quality control program reporting requirements.
• Responsible for directing a subordinate support staff, planning short- and long-range priorities, and preparing schedules for work completion.
• Manages a number of automated expense and manpower management systems.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing labor cost data for accuracy and compliance with regulations; utilizing automated systems to input expense and/or personnel data; preparing financial reports using financial systems; assisting with workload distribution of subordinates. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
