Position Summary Reporting to the Group Director or Manager, Creative and working closely with the Associate Creative Director, Experience Design, the Designer 2D will support the creative ideation of events, activations, tradeshows and other branded experiences at CVS Health. This passionate graphic designer must bring a strong creative aesthetic, brand-driven strategic thinking, and expertise in translating brand stories into compelling experiences across physical and digital environments. Must demonstrate strategic and creative problem solving with a deep understanding of design to develop compelling concepts that are on brand and meet business objectives. This is a hands-on role requiring strong design and presentation skills with an eye for detail.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop strategic creative concepts and design solutions for events, activations, tradeshows and branded experiences that inspire audiences and elevate brand storytelling.
  • Apply strategic and creative design thinking to deliver impactful event, activation, and experiential assets, including environmental graphics, print collateral, and digital content.
  • Successfully use design skills and knowledge to develop compelling themes, ideas, and designs that are on brand, and meet business objectives.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail and be a dependable team player.

Hybrid Work Model: This role follows a hybrid schedule based in our Woonsocket, RI office, with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in office (minimum of 2 days) and the remainder of the week working remotely.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of graphic design experience in a design firm, agency, or corporate environment, with examples of how their contributions assisted in the development of breakthrough creative including signage and branding
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), PowerPoint, Workfront, Miro, and Mac-based design environments
  • Knowledge of AI and emerging digital technologies, with the ability to leverage them to enhance creativity, storytelling, audience engagement, and design innovation
  • Strong understanding of print production processes, file management best practices, and the ability to take projects from concept through print-ready execution with exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Portfolio must have strong understanding and experience in developing concepts for events, activations, tradeshows and environmental signage

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of typography, color, composition, and visual design principles, with the ability to interpret and evolve brand guidelines across multiple touchpoints
  • Passion for strategic and creative problem-solving, with the ability to develop design solutions that achieve business objectives and enhance audience engagement
  • Knowledge of current trends, best practices, and emerging innovations in events, activations, experiential marketing, and environmental design
  • Ability to generate impactful creative ideas and executions that deliver and adhere to brand vision and brand standards while ensuring consistency
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
