Full job description

Large Scale Partnerships Manager Duration: Month-to-month contract Job Type:1099, Independent Contractor

Role Overview RLC is seeking a results-driven Large Scale Partnerships Manager to grow our large-scale donor pipeline. This role is not a cold-outreach role: success depends on the candidate's own existing relationships within the CPG industry (frozen foods, baby food, snack, and related categories), converting their personal network of decision-makers into recurring, pallet-level excess food donations. The ideal candidate can bring new large-scale donors, from medium-sized businesses up to Fortune 100 clients, on board within the first 30 days by leveraging trust already built through their professional network. Key Responsibilities

  • Recover a minimum of 250,000 lbs of excess food per month by securing new large-scale donor partners
  • Identify and prioritize prospective donors among companies that generate high volumes of wasted food, from medium-sized businesses up to Fortune 100 clients
  • Conduct outreach, pitch RLC's food rescue partnership model, and close recurring, pallet-level donation agreements
  • Manage the full partnership cycle: prospecting, outreach, meetings, follow-up, and closing
  • Collaborate with internal RLC team members to coordinate donation logistics and ensure a strong partner experience
  • Track outreach, pipeline activity, and pounds-recovered progress in CRM (Salesforce)

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience selling into CPG companies, including frozen foods, baby food, snack, and related categories
  • Demonstrated ability to bring on new clients through existing relationships, must be able to convert warm connections into signed partners within the first 30 days
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue/volume-based targets
  • Strong existing network among corporate decision-makers relevant to food donation, sustainability, or CSR/ESG functions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Passion for RLC's mission of redistributing excess food to neighbors facing food insecurity

Compensation

  • Flat fee: $5,000/month, paid month-to-month
  • Bonus: 2% bonus per pound recovered above the 250,000 lb/month threshold, capped at $5,000 per month

Details Type: Contract (month-to-month) Location: Hybrid, NYC-based Hours: 20 hours per week
