Tucked into the Wasatch Mountains at Canyons Village in Park City, Utah, Hyatt Centric Park City is your ski resort base camp for mountain adventures year-round. In winter, enjoy true ski in/ski out access including the new 10 passenger Sunrise Gondola, steps from the hotel, for faster laps up to Red Pine and beyond. Then unwind in spacious suites, residences, or condo rentals before enjoying après, dining, and Historic Main Street.

We are seeking an energetic, service-driven professional to join our Operations leadership team. This role is ideal for an experienced leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the day-to-day operations of a dynamic hotel environment.
The Operations Manager primarily supports the Front Office operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient team performance.There may be times where this individual steps in to assist in the Housekeeping and Food & Beverage departments.This role assists with staff supervision, training, and service delivery while maintaining Hyatt’s high standards of hospitality. This role does require open availability, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Supervise and coordinate front desk staff activities, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

Ensure prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all guests and visitors, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints effectively.

Manage reservations, check-in/check-out processes, and billing procedures to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Collaborate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met and operational issues are resolved.

Monitor front office operations to ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to front office performance and guest feedback.

Implement and maintain front office systems and technology to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
The Operations Manager utilizes strong leadership and organizational skills daily to manage and motivate the Front Office team, ensuring efficient workflow and high morale. Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with guests, resolving conflicts, and coordinating with other departments to meet guest expectations. Proficiency with property management systems and reservation software enables accurate handling of bookings, billing, and reporting tasks. Problem-solving skills are applied to address operational challenges and guest concerns promptly, maintaining service quality. Additionally, analytical skills support the review of performance metrics and implementation of process improvements to enhance overall Front Office operations.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of progressive hotel Front Office leadership experience preferred.

Success in training/developing colleagues of various skillsets to improve operational performance and customer engagement

Working experience with Opera Cloud andHotSOS
