Job Description

Responsibilities

The Invasive Cardiac Specialist-Rad Technol demonstrates professional development and clinical competency. Utilizes the invasive cardiology process to address health educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers; manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and unit operations; applies knowledge of growth and development needs from adolescent through geriatric patients; assists with invasive procedures in the roles of hemodynamic monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing with physicians.

Qualifications

Required:

Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) AND State Radiology Technologist License: Must obtain RAD within 12 months of hire if currently hold RADT.

One of: ARRT (CI) ARRT (CV) or ARRT (VI) or RCIS or RCES. Must obtain credential within 24 months of hire.

OR

Temp State License AND must obtain ARRT(R) prior to temp license expiration.

One of: ARRT (CI) ARRT (CV) or ARRT (VI) or RCIS or RCES. Must obtain credential within 24 months of hire.

Desired:

One year in a cath lab

Cardiac Interventional Radiography OR Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography OR Vascular Interventional Radiography OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
