Core Responsibilities

  • Practice Planning:Design structured training sessions, physical conditioning programs, and fundamental skill drills.

  • Game Strategy:Develop competitive tactics, analyze opposing teams, and call plays or make substitutions during games.

  • Player Development:Evaluate individual player strengths and weaknesses to provide constructive feedback and mentorship.

  • Team Management:Foster good sportsmanship, discipline, and a positive team culture.

  • Administration:Coordinate team logistics like travel, maintain equipment, and monitor players' academic progress where applicable

Qualifications & Skills

  • Knowledge:Deep understanding of basketball rules, advanced strategies, and training methods.

  • Communication:Clear verbal communication skills to instruct players and motivate the team.

  • Leadership:Strong decision-making under pressure and interpersonal skills to build relationships with athletes.

  • Experience:Prior playing or coaching experience at the relevant youth, high school, or collegiate level.
