Full job description

Description

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources and Training Manager to lead core people operations in Danville, Indiana. This role will oversee employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding, and day-to-day HR processes while helping create a positive and compliant workplace environment. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to support both employees and leadership with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily human resources operations, ensuring policies, records, and employee support activities are handled accurately and efficiently.

  • Guide managers and staff on workplace concerns, helping resolve employee relations matters in a fair, consistent, and timely manner.

  • Administer employee benefit programs, answer questions related to coverage and eligibility, and coordinate enrollment activities.

  • Manage onboarding processes for new hires, including documentation, orientation, and a smooth transition into the organization.

  • Maintain and update HR information systems to support accurate employee data, reporting, and process improvement.

  • Coordinate training initiatives that help employees and supervisors build knowledge, meet compliance expectations, and strengthen performance.

  • Partner with leadership on HR administration needs, workforce planning, and practical solutions that support business and employee goals.

Requirements • Demonstrated experience in human resources management with responsibility for employee relations and HR administration.

  • Working knowledge of benefits coordination, onboarding practices, and employee support processes.

  • Experience using HRIS platforms to maintain records, track information, and produce reports.

  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of an organization.

  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Familiarity with employee training coordination and compliance-related HR activities.
