POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Life Enrichment Director, is responsible for designing and implementing an activities program (both group and individual) that meets the needs of all Woodridge residents. Under the supervision of the Licensed Nurse and Life Enrichment Director, provides direct and indirect patient care for residents while they are engaged in Life Enrichment programs and events. Performs these patient care duties within the scope of practice of their LNA license from the State of Vermont.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE

Must have knowledge and computer experience in word, excel and electronic MR. Understanding in care plan and documentation processes for long term care. Possess an overall knowledge and understanding of the aging process. Is an excellent communicator and works collaboratively with all team members.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of six months experience in a long term care or skilled nursing facility.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Current VT LNA license is required.
