KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Cyber Operations to join our Enterprise Security Services organization.

Responsibilities:

Monitor DLP technologies and incorporate AI security guardrails across endpoints, cloud platforms, and collaboration tools to safeguard sensitive firm and client data

Drive end-to-end DLP incident response, including triage, containment, root cause analysis, and remediation of incidents involving sensitive data entered, generated by, or transferred through AI-related tools

Detect and analyze emerging AI-driven threats by correlating DLP alerts, user behavior analytics, access activity, prompt interactions, data movement patterns, and insider risk indicators

Perform threat hunting, incident mitigation, and assessments to identify system weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and policy non-compliance

Conduct proactive threat hunting and risk assessments focused on AI platforms, vibe coding environments, agentic workflows, and other emerging technologies to identify data exposure pathways and control gaps

Document operational processes in playbooks and reference guides, while designing automated agentic workflows to streamline security operations

Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:

Minimum three years of recent experience with security monitoring, operations, or incident response within a professional services environment

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required

Ability to quickly learn security products, tools, and processes to assist in advancing the firm's security posture

Must be interested in pursuing professional certifications or vendor specific products, and developing agentic workflows, as required for the role

Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and create documentation such as incident reports, playbooks, procedures, and knowledge articles.

Familiarity with AI technologies, including GenAI, LLMs, AI coding assistants, copilots, and agentic workflows, with an interest in understanding associated security and data protection risks
