Position OverviewProvides primary care to patients, collaborating with and under the direction of physicians in the clinic, following established standards and practices. Helps with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations. Educates patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments. Conducts physicals, orders tests and serves as a patient’s primary healthcare provider.

Women's Health Advance Practice Provider

To meet the needs of the region and provide seamless, high-quality women's healthcare, we are seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our rapidly growing team. This provider will deliver comprehensive OB/GYN care, including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic services.

You will work alongside experienced providers in a supportive environment with a strong focus on patient-centered care. Our team currently consists of five OB/GYN physicians, one Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician, and one Urogynecologist. We offer dedicated OR block time, surgical robotics, and collaborative relationships with Advanced Practice Providers, nurses, and support staff.

Our hospital features a Level II NICU with access to Level III services and seamless access to tertiary care. We welcome APPs seeking mentorship, professional growth, and a long-term home within a supportive group practice setting.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist with triaging obstetric and gynecologic patients, including assessment and determination of the appropriate level of care.

  • Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, including history and physical examinations

  • Evaluate patients presenting with urgent OB/GYN concerns and collaborate with the supervising or attending physician regarding the plan of care

  • Assist with the management and coordination of hospitalized OB/GYN patients within the APP's scope of practice and organizational policies

  • Facilitate communication and coordination between inpatient and outpatient teams to support continuity of care and appropriate follow-up

  • Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and transitions of care

Qualifications:

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification

  • Current New York State license

  • BLS and ACLS certification

Location:

Binghamton, New York, is located approximately 2.5 hours northwest of New York City and one hour south of Syracuse. The position includes a competitive salary range of $129,000 - $135000, bonus incentives, a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package.
