Job Summary:

To be a great Sales Associate, you provide excellent customer service which is friendly, genuine and professional, and you always put the customers first ahead of everything and anything else. You make the shopping experience engaging and interactive by enthusiastically sharing your knowledge whether face to face or over the phone, helping a customer choose a special gift, unique card or gorgeous wrap. A sales associate creates enticing displays which are neat, tidy and vibrant to the customer. Your passion for customer service and willingness to help ensures your customers look forward to coming into your store. From creating inspiring displays to helping with services, there is always an opportunity to demonstrate initiative and your passion for our products and people.

What you do:

  • Create a welcoming environment by engaging with our customers through friendly and genuine service to meet their needs.

  • Ask open-ended questions and use your product knowledge to make thoughtful recommendations as you actively sell.

  • Ensure a vibrant store by supporting store visual merchandising & replenishment standards, showing a commitment to maintaining a neat, tidy, shoppable and inviting presentation.

  • Leverage key campaigns and services, such as new item launches, promotions, membership, ship-to-home, etc.

  • Leverage training and communication tools (e.g., Cognition, Paper reSource, InsidePS, etc.) to educate yourself continuously on our products and services, supporting the store with this knowledge to give customers a great experience when they visit and shop.

  • Protect company assets by adhering to all inventory and loss prevention standards, properly completing any inventories and initiatives.

  • Work on the selling floor, which requires physical activity (i.e., prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, climbing)
