Job Description
We are seeking a Google Implementation Engineer to lead the successful adoption, deployment, and optimization of Google's collaboration and productivity ecosystem across a large enterprise environment. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor, helping business stakeholders reimagine existing workflows, modernize business practices, and maximize the value of Google Workspace technologies.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and consulting skills, enabling them to guide teams through organizational change, increase user adoption, and develop scalable solutions that improve collaboration and operational efficiency.
> Partner with business leaders, technical teams, and end users to evaluate current processes and identify opportunities for improvement within the Google ecosystem. > Lead the planning, deployment, and rollout of Google Workspace solutions including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, Chat, and related collaboration tools. > Analyze existing Microsoft-based workflows and recommend scalable alternatives that improve efficiency, automation, and information sharing. > Serve as a subject matter expert on Google Workspace best practices, governance, collaboration strategies, and enterprise adoption. > Develop enterprise-wide deployment plans, migration strategies, change management initiatives, and user enablement programs. > Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder discussions to drive adoption and educate users on effective use of Google technologies. > Identify process gaps, pain points, and opportunities for automation while helping shape future-state business processes. > Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to ensure successful integrations and connectivity between business applications. > Provide recommendations regarding data flow, document management, collaboration architecture, and digital workplace optimization. > Support ongoing enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives as the organization expands its Google platform capabilities. > Serve as a trusted consultant throughout the transformation journey, helping teams navigate change while establishing sustainable operational practices.
Compensation: $50/hr to $65/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Skills and Requirements
> Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field. > Experience implementing, administering, or supporting Google Workspace in an enterprise environment. > Strong understanding of organizational change management and technology adoption strategies. > Experience leading software deployments, migrations, or enterprise collaboration initiatives. > Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. > Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. > Strong problem-solving and process improvement capabilities. > Proven ability to work independently while influencing stakeholders at multiple organizational levels. > Google Workspace certifications. > Experience migrating organizations from Microsoft-centric environments. > Background in enterprise architecture, collaboration strategy, or digital transformation initiatives. > Knowledge of identity management, security, governance, and cloud collaboration platforms. > Experience leading user training, organizational enablement, and adoption programs.
