Full job description

At Mitek, content is how we earn trust and drive engagement. We showcase our expertise through blogs, white papers, and video content that resonate with our customers. We're looking for a detail-oriented Content Marketing Manager to own our editorial agenda from end to end: directing external writers and video partners, shaping their work into polished, on-brand assets, and taking full ownership of our YouTube channel.

What You'll Do (Essential Responsibilities)

Content Strategy & Topic Planning

• Set the editorial agenda: Work with the marketing team to set content topics and priorities across blogs, white papers, videos, and social, and maintain the editorial calendar.

Managing & Edit Written Content (Blogs & White Papers)

• Manage external content writers: Brief, schedule, and manage writers for blogs and white papers.

• Edit for quality & SEO: Edit drafts for accuracy, voice, and on-page SEO best practices before publishing. This role edits far more than it writes.

• Publish: Finalize and publish content on schedule.

Manage Production & the YouTube Channel (Video)

• Manage external video firm: Brief concepts and scripts, coordinate shoots, and review cuts for quality and brand fit.

• Own the YouTube Channel: Manage the channel's branding, content mix, and publishing cadence, including ongoing upkeep which includes removing or refreshing outdated content to keep the channel current and on-brand.

Collaboration & Planning

• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with the SEO Manager on keyword-informed topics, and with demand, web, creative, and product marketing on messaging and priorities.

• Annual planning: Contribute content performance and topic insights to annual and quarterly marketing planning.

Ideal Candidate

• A meticulous, detail-oriented editor and content strategist who is skilled at shaping others' drafts into polished, on-brand assets. This role edits far more than it writes, and no writing portfolio is required.

• Strong project and vendor management skills, comfortable directing outside writers, video firms, or agencies to stay on brief, on brand, and on schedule.

• An eye for brand and video presentation, with the judgment to shape a YouTube channel's look, feel, and content mix.

• Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, enough to edit content well and collaborate effectively with the team.

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude — comfortable owning a program end to end with minimal oversight.

Who You Are (Soft Skills and Attributes)

• Detail-oriented: you catch what others skim past.

• A proactive, organized self-starter who keeps vendors and partners aligned and on schedule .

• A clear communicator who collaborates easily across teams.

• Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-changing content landscape.

What You Need (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Technical Skills and Abilities)

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• 3–5 years in content marketing or editing.

• Strong editing skills.

• Experience managing external writers, video firms, or agencies.

• Working knowledge of SEO/on-page optimization fundamentals.

• Experience managing a YouTube or similar video platform presence.

• Strong written communication skills, with close attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What Would Be Nice (Preferred Skills & Experience)

• Exposure to AEO/GEO concepts and how content surfaces in AI search platforms.

• Basic familiarity with video editing concepts/software.

• Experience with Webflow or a comparable CMS.

• Industry experience: familiarity with identity verification, fraud prevention, or trust & safety.
