Full job description

Description We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a team delivering scalable full stack solutions in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced developer who enjoys building, enhancing, and supporting business-critical applications across both backend and frontend technologies. The role calls for strong technical judgment, close collaboration with cross-functional partners, and a disciplined approach to software quality, documentation, and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, refine, and release full stack applications by translating business and technical needs into reliable software solutions.

  • Partner with stakeholders, technical teams, and external contributors to evaluate requirements, recommend approaches, and deliver effective application enhancements.

  • Analyze system behavior and technical specifications to shape sound design decisions aligned with established architecture principles.

  • Conduct thorough code reviews and uphold development standards to improve maintainability, performance, and compliance with quality expectations.

  • Follow approved source control, build, testing, and deployment practices to support stable and efficient software delivery.

  • Troubleshoot complex application and system issues, identify root causes, and implement durable resolutions with minimal oversight.

  • Prepare clear technical documentation and ensure code accuracy through consistent use of configuration management and quality assurance processes.

  • Coordinate with project team members to keep work on schedule, support productivity, and help ensure successful completion of deliverables.

  • Handle sensitive information appropriately while contributing to additional technical initiatives and assigned special projects as needed. Requirements • At least 6 years of experience in software development within a structured environment, including design, coding, testing, implementation, and deployment.

  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework 4.5 or higher, .NET 5 or higher, T-SQL, REST APIs, and Entity Framework.

  • At least 3 years of experience developing modern user interfaces using Angular 10 or higher, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

  • Experience creating accessible, standards-compliant HTML5 interfaces in alignment with W3C guidelines.

  • Familiarity with modern front-end development tooling, including command-line package management tools such as npm.

  • Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and structured delivery processes, including documentation, QA, and change management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including business partners, vendors, and project teams. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
