Job Description

  • Maintaining laboratory supplies, reagents inventory, and preparation of media
  • Safe handling and movement of compressed gases and/or cryogenic liquids.
  • Cleaning and monitoring of controlled temperature units, fume hoods, and biological safety cabinets (BSC)
  • Use of electronic management and tracking systems for monitoring and documenting routine maintenance and calibration status of laboratory equipment.
  • Use of electronic systems to initiate and coordinate workflows between multiple teams/departments
  • Management of paper lab notebook and logbook requests, updates, and reconciliation
  • Completion of all work and documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Assists in coordination and execution of reoccurring equipment maintenance and calibrations.
  • Participates in overtime and weekend schedule as required.
  • Cleaning, organization, and labeling of lab spaces in accordance with effective procedures.
  • Complete all safety and procedural trainings and re-trainings.
  • Complete tasks listed above in laboratory areas that handle potent chemical compounds.
  • Support of laboratory area located on multiple sites

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences + 2 years of relevant industry experience OR
  • Master's degree in Life Sciences
  • Ability to meet physical demands including, but not limited to, routinely lifting objects of 25 lbs. or more, walking and standing for extended periods of time, pushing or pulling carts and equipment and bending down or reaching for supplies.
  • Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Ability to independently commute between different site locations (< 5 miles between sites)
  • Ability to learn new processes, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information

  • Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Pay range: $26.25 - $27.00 / hour
